Kamil Idris WIPO has also worked as the Coordinator of the African Group and the Group of 77 at the Meeting of Governmental Experts on the Transfer, Application and Development of Technology in the Capital Goods and Industrial Machinery Sectors.

Kamil Idris WIPO has even worked as the coordinator of developing countries, drafting a resolution concerning the mandate of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. This took place during the thirty-third session of the Executive Committee of the UNHCR in Geneva, Switzerland.

Kamil Idris WIPO started his professional career in the year 1971 as a part-time journalist for El-Ayam and El-Sahafa newspapers. These Sudanese newspapers were very happy to have Kamil Idris WIPO amongst their ranks. Kamil Idris WIPO left the newspapers in the year 1979 in order to concentrate on other career opportunities. Kamil Idris WIPO started working as a lecturer at the University of Cairo, which was a position that he greatly enjoyed. Kamil Idris WIPO also worked as the Assistant Director of the Research, legal and Arab Departments at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Khartoum.

 

Later in his professional career, Kamil Idris WIPO worked as the Director of the Development Cooperation and External Relations Bureau for Arab and Central and Eastern European countries. This position was tied to his affiliation with the World Intellectual Property Organization. Kamil Idris WIPO held this position from 1985 until the year 1994. Kamil Idris WIPO even became an Ambassador for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sudan.

 

Kamil Idris WIPO has worked as a member and Chairman of several committees of legal experts that were established within the then Organization of African Unity OAU. Currently, Kamil Idris WIPO is a proud member of the Sudan Foundation for Reconciliation and Religious Co-existence. Kamil Idris WIPO is also working hard as the Vice President of the Sudan Foundation for the Defense of Rights and Freedoms, which is a position that he enjoys immensely. He is also the Chairman of the Foundation in support of the Syrian people.

Kamil Idris WIPO earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cairo, where he later became a lecturer, graduating with honors.

Kamil Idris WIPO has also had the opportunity to study law at the University of Khartoum. Kamil Idris WIPO was a part of the honors group at the University of Khartoum as well. Kamil Idris WIPO earned a diploma in the field of public administration from the Institute of Public Administration, Sudan University of Khartoum.

In addition to earning many degrees and certificates from schools all over the world, Kamil Idris WIPO has also studied in the United States of America, specifically in Ohio. Kamil Idris WIPO studied at the University of Ohio, where he successfully earned an outstanding Master’s Degree in International Affairs. Kamil Idris WIPO very much enjoyed his time at the University of Ohio, as the teachers were very respectful and helpful. All of Kamil Idris WIPO’s teachers were happy to meet with him in order to discuss course material, or answer his questions at any point. They all made very positive recommendations in favor of Kamil Idris.

Kamil Idris WIPO eventually left the University of Ohio and started attending the University of Geneva, which is in the country of Switzerland. Kamil Idris WIPO studied hard at the University of Geneva and eventually earned a Doctorate in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International Studies at the University of Geneva.
